The Boss

Get it moving, then talk about it

You can't stand a thing hanging unresolved. When a meeting runs half its length without a decision, you take it over and set the direction — even when it wasn't yours to set. Inefficiency provokes something close to a reflex in you: see a process bend three times and your first instinct is to tear it down rather than adapt. You often are right, which makes it harder to slow down and easier to be well ahead before anyone has caught up.

Where you move easily

What it tends to cost

At work

You need real authority and a clear target; the worst arrangement is carrying the responsibility while the decision sits elsewhere. You are worth most in fast pivots and building from nothing, and you chafe in mature environments that mostly need maintenance. Leading people, make deliberate room for others to fail — the faster you take over, the slower they grow.

In relationships

With people you care about you're equally an actor: solving, arranging, covering. That is genuine care, though it may not land that way. What goes wrong in intimacy is treating it as another thing to optimise, when what's wanted is someone who will show weakness and say “I don't know what to do either.” You rarely say you're tired, so people assume you need no looking after.
