Natal chart
Palaces, stars and decade intervals for reference alongside the readings.
Choices made in this chart: the year turns at Lunar New Year (not at the start of spring); a late Zi hour (from 23:00) counts as the next day; the first fifteen days of a leap month count as that month and the sixteenth onward as the next; the Geng-year transformations are taken as Sun, Wu Qu, Tai Yin, Tian Tong. Schools differ on these points, and another school would cast it differently.
How to read this chart
Western signs use the tropical zodiac and approximate astronomical calculations. Lunar dates for 1901–2100 use Hong Kong Observatory conversion data; dates outside this range are marked as approximate. Zi Wei uses UTC+8, a day beginning at 23:00, and a leap-month rule that switches to the next month from day 16. No apparent solar-time correction is made. Other schools may differ. These readings are for cultural exploration and reflection, not scientific personality assessment or event prediction.

Chinese zodiac
We match the Gregorian birthday you enter to the Hong Kong Observatory lunar calendar. The animal changes on Lunar New Year, not 1 January or Li Chun. This date-only cultural lookup uses your recorded local birthday without converting it to another time zone; time of birth is not required.
Zi Wei is separate: it converts the birth instant to Beijing time and uses its own late-Zi-hour day rule. Near a date or New Year boundary, its chart year can differ. Neither result predicts your future.
