Both sides have a point, and that's the problem
You can stand in several positions at once, which makes you a natural go-between and makes your judgement fairer than most people's. You care about the quality of a relationship and you'll genuinely give ground for it. - You avoid conflict to the point of losing out by default, and in time that turns into resentment.
- You hand the decision over, then blame the one who made it.
- You need to be liked — enough to say things you don't mean.
